GERALD LANGE  BA, LLB

Gerald has commercial experience as a Barrister & Solicitor and a long history in a large family owned food manufacturing business, later, part of the Goodman Fielder Group.  Experience in the company included working in corporate legal, manufacturing, engineering, accounting, IT management, sales and marketing.

In 1994, he joined a national recruitment company as a recruitment consultant, managing that company's Legal Career Development Programme for over 4 years.  He also appointed middle and senior management in accounting, engineering, technical, sales and marketing, production/manufacturing, IT and a range of other occupational groups, to CEO level, for a number of high profile New Zealand corporates.  Other clients included a very wide variety of law firms, national and provincial.

Subsequently, Gerald worked with the world's largest multinational outplacement, career transition and career management consultancy in Singapore, working with senior expatriate candidates from multinational companies whose positions were made redundant as a result of the Asian economic crisis.  He later joined the company's Auckland office, as a Senior Consultant.

In 2000 he joined another national corporate search and recruitment company in Auckland, working particularly for two of New Zealand's largest corporates.

He is now Director of the The Career Professionals Ltd, specialising in recruitment, change management, career management and outplacement.
